Lesson Overview:   

Jesus likens obedient disciples to wise builders who dig deep and lay their houses on rock (Luke 6:46-49). The writer to the Hebrews identifies six “elementary principles” that form that rock-solid footing: repentance, faith, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection, and eternal judgment (Heb 6:1-3). Together, these passages call believers to move beyond mere profession, lay immovable foundations in Christ, and grow into mature, fruitful lives.
