Lesson 10: Overview

Lesson 10: Overview

in

Justification is God’s final and unchanging judicial declaration that believers are acquitted in Christ, removing all condemnation and giving objective peace with God, while assurance is the inner confidence that flows from faith. This justification includes complete forgiveness of sins because Christ has fully paid the penalty, allowing God to remember sins no more and restore fellowship with humanity. Salvation originates entirely in God’s grace and is accomplished through Christ’s blood and resurrection, received by faith alone, with works serving as the evidence of genuine faith rather than its basis. Grace and law cannot be mixed, for believers are no longer under the Mosaic Law, and true faith expresses itself through love produced by the Holy Spirit.
