Redemption means Jesus personally stepped in and paid the price to rescue us from sin, bondage, and death, making our salvation real and effective. By becoming one of us, He acted as our kinsman redeemer, buying us back, restoring what was lost, and claiming us as God’s own. Because of redemption, we are freed from the power of sin, the curse of the law, and fear of death, and our lives begin to change with real freedom, joy, and a sense of belonging to God. While this rescue is already happening now, it will be fully completed when Christ returns and our bodies are finally redeemed too.
